A Study on HR Initiatives Towards Enhancing Team Performance Among automobile Firms In Chennai

A team constituting a limited number of people who have similar skills or complementary skills work together for achieving a common purpose.  The need for constitution of teams differs considerable.  Industrial organizations in our country are realizing the need to prepare to face increasing competition in the globally spreading free market economy. The market forces are sometimes favorable and at some other times unfavorable for the growth of an organization. In order to build a healthy organisation the owners, management and employees have to work in harmony strengthening the we-together attitude. The objectives of this research are to  identify the various dimensions of HR initiatives undertaken by automobile firms towards enhancing team performance, assess the level of HR initiatives towards enhancing team performance among automobile firms in Chennai and to study the association between demographics and level of agreement towards the various HR initiatives influencing enhancement of team performance.
