Infra-red absorbing textile material
1989
PURPOSE: To obtain an infra-red absorbing textile material having high resistance to washing, fastness to dry-cleaning by applying an infra-red absorbing polymer having a specific particle size to a textile material comprising natural or synthetic fibers. CONSTITUTION: An infra-red absorbing textile material that has high durability, is obtained by applying a conjugated polymer (infra-red absorbing polymer) including a 5 or 6 membered heterocyclic or a carbocyclic group and having a molecular weight of 500 and particle size of ≤1 μm to a textile material comprising natural or synthetic fibers. The following polymers are cited as the conjugates polymers, (a) a homopolymer or a copolymer of 5-membered heterocyclic compound having conjugated π electron system including a hetero atom selected from oxygen, nitrogen and sulfur, (b) a homopolymer or a copolymer derivated from anilin or the like, (c) a homopolymer or a copolymer of 5-membered heterocyclic compound having conjugated π electron system including two hetero atoms selected from oxygen, nitrogen and sulfur.
