The invention provides a signal source detection device and method, and a display device. The signal source detection device comprises an interface detection module, a channel selection module, a signal processing module and an output module. The interface detection module is used to detect whether each signal input interface of the display device accesses a signal source. The channel selection module is used to select the signal input interface with the highest priority from the plurality of detected signal input interfaces with signal source access according to a priority table which is stored in advance, when the interface detection module detects that the plurality of signal input interfaces access signal sources. The priority table includes the priority of each signal input interface of the display device. The signal processing module is used to process signals that are input via the selected signal input interface. The output module is used to output signals that are obtained after treatment by the signal processing module. The signal source detection device and method, and the display device of the invention are convenient to use by users with improved user experience.
