Study on the Characteristics of Atmospheric Boundary Layer by Mie Scattering Lidar

By using Mie scattering laser lidar,aerosol extinction coefficient and backscatter coefficient were inverted by using Lidar returns and Klett inversion method.Then the characteristic parameters of mixed layer height and entrainment zone width of the atmospheric boundary layer were obtained by fitting inverted backscatter coefficient curve.It has a good correlation between Lidar data and the sounding-balloon data.The influence of atmospheric boundary layer on the climate of Sichuan basin was discussed based on the detected data.
