Impact sensor and method for testing of a crash sensor

There is proposed a collision sensor or a method of testing the impact sensor, the impact sensor includes a sensor element and a filter for filtering the signals of the sensor element. This filter is preferably a low-pass filter. By means of a test signal of the filter is tested in order to correct a deviation of the filter by a software filter or a parameterization of the triggering algorithm.
