Research on Controlling Toxicity of Sulfureted Hydrogen in Anaerobic Digestion

In anaerobic treatment for highly concentrated sulphatecontaining wastewater, there not only exists the substrate competition between sulphatereducing bacteria and methaneproducing bacteria, but the sulfureted hydrogen produced by sulphatereducing bacteria through the way of reducing sukphate, produceing toxicity to methaneproducing bacteria This paper introduces the dynamics equation of sulfureted hydroge′s toxicity to methaneproducing bacteria, analyzes the mechanism of sulfureted hydrogen′s toxicity to methane producing bacteria in details, and places emphasis on the three important methods of controlling sulfuretedhydrogen′s toxicity, which is gas extraction, chemical deposition and biological sulfur removal 
