No-uniformidad de flujo en las corrientes de turbidez del Grupo de Hecho

2000
The topography of the Hecho Croup basin margins induced the flow non-uniformity processes leading to the genesis of the ponded lobes element (basin plain facies association). An ideal facies tract is defined for ponded lobes, partially preserved in some beds. As a result of syn- depositional liquefaction and plastic behaviour, the facies tract changed into its actual appearance: a graded muddy sandstone/siltstone, with a distinctive content of graded small pseudonodules and fragments of microfolded laminae, merging upwards into a thick mudstone division which in turn evolves into a relatively thin hemipelagite cap.
