It is shown that the copolymer (benzylmethacrylate with dimethacrylate propyleneglycol) with hydrophobic surface containing nanoparticles titanium dioxide has reversible hydrophilic properties under UV-light. The surface after “dark” period becomes hydrophobic again. Discovered effect is important to coats with UV-induced hydrophilic conversion and self-cleaning properties.
