Особенности проявления эффекта фотоиндуцированной гидрофильности поверхности полиметакрилатов, содержащих нанодиоксид титана

It is shown that the copolymer (benzylmethacrylate with dimethacrylate propyleneglycol) with hydrophobic surface containing nanoparticles titanium dioxide has reversible hydrophilic properties under UV-light. The surface after “dark” period becomes hydrophobic again. Discovered effect is important to coats with UV-induced hydrophilic conversion and self-cleaning properties.
