Graphene/nanometer cellulose composite fibers and preparation method thereof

2014
The invention discloses graphene/nanometer cellulose composite fibers and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises that graphene oxide prepared by a Hummer's oxidation method and microfibrillar nanometer cellulose prepared by a TEMPO-NaClO-NaBr oxidation system are mixed to form a composite spinning stock solution having graphene oxide content of 2-5% and nanometer cellulose content of 0.2-2.5%, the composite spinning stock solution is continuously and uniformly injected into a curing bath under the action of capillary, and the collected cured fibers are washed, dried and undergo a chemical reduction reaction. The graphene/nanometer cellulose composite fibers have diameters of 33-100 micrometers, linear density of 0.6-1.2tex, tensile strength of 180-440MPa, breaking elongation of 4-10% and conductivity of 340-800S/m and can be used in the fields of high-performance fibers, supercapacitors, antistatic fabrics and biosensors. The preparation method has simple processes and good operationality and can be industrialized.
