Update on study of resistance genes of Streptococcus pneumoniae to β-lactam and macrolide antibiotics

In recent years, resistance to β-lactam and macrolide antibiotics has been increasingly observed in Streptococcus pneumoniae. At present,about its resistance gene studies have aroused widespread public concern. This review describes update on the study of resistance genes of Streptococcus pneumoniae to β-lactam and macrolide antibiotics.
