Phase interactions in the Na3PO4-GaPO4 system
2002
Phase relations in the Na 3 PO 4 -GaPO 4 system are studied by X-ray diffraction and IR and Raman spectroscopy (isotherms at 750 and 900°C). The character of interaction between the components is determined, the phases are isolated and identified. The region of solid solutions based on the high-temperature phase of sodium phosphate Na 3 - x Ga x / 3 □ 2 x / 3 PO 4 (space group Fm3m) and an extensive region of glasses are first found. Analysis of IR and Raman spectra of the phases indicates the structural unequivalence of positions of the PO 4 tetrahedra in the solid solution and their random distribution in the glass-formation region.
