Broadband enhancement of light-matter interaction in 2D semiconductors by photonic hypercrystals

We demonstrate enhanced photoluminescence from monolayer MoS 2 and WS 2 by a factor of 60 over the entire emission range using a photonic hypercrystal having hyperbolic dispersion.
