Cultural Dimensions of The Analects and the Translation Strategies

Although cultural dimension theory has become the major topic in cultural studies, it's paid less attention in the field of translation studies. Based on the analysis of five English versions of The Analects;, this paper discusses the cultural dimensions and spreading of The Analects to demonstrate that the discussion of cultural dimensions under the context of cultural rise can help make the cultural content with international cultural features in The Analects successfully accepted in the western culture.
