Findings of Spinal Diseases by Improved Recent Computed Tomography

1984
In this study, the effectiveness of computed tomography in diagnosing several spinal disorders was evaluated. Since March, 1983, sixty five spinal disorders (cervical spondylosis 10, OPLL OYL 11, spinal canal stenosis 11, disc herniation 17, tumor 14) were scanned in our hospital and we found improvement in analysis of soft tissues, that is, disc herniation, thick yellow ligament and nerve tissue. These experience suggests that CT demonstrates the deformity and compression of nerve accuratelly.
