Symptomatic congenital gastroenteric duplication cyst of the esophagus containing exocrine and endocrine pancreatic tissues.

We recently had the opportunity to study a young child with a gastroenteric cyst of the esophagus which contained, in addition to gastric mucosa, pancreatic exocrine and endocrine components. The occurrence of pancreatic tissue in the esophagus is an extremely rare events, and due to the unique histology and the severe symptomatology, we report this case
