TOLERÂNCIA À TOXICIDADE POR ALUMÍNIO EM CULTIVARES DE AVEIA (Avena sativa L.) SOB CULTIVO HIDROPÔNICO TOLERANCE TO ALLUMINUM TOXICITY IN OAT (Avena sativa L.) IN HIDROPONIC CULTIVATION

2006
The use of hidroponic culture allows the evaluation of tolerance to alluminum toxicity in oat genotypes through the measure of recapture of root growth, separating, phenotipically, the genotypes as tolerant and sensitive. Ten oat cultivars (Avena sativa L.) recommended for cultivation in Southern Brazil were screened with to quantify the aluminum tolerance, aiming to assess the best genotypes for critical areas or for use as parents in crosses to obtain high yielding genotypes with aluminum tolerance. Alluminum doses of 10, 15 and 20 mg L -1 were used in hydroponic solution in a randomized complete block design with three replications. The doses of 15 and 20 mg L -1
