A Novel Watermark Method for Image Protection Based on Periodic Haar Piecewise-Linear Transform

In this paper, a novel watermark method based on Periodic Haar Piecewise-Linear (PHL) transform is proposed. This solution provides high embedding capacity with negligible degradation of image quality. The PHL transform is based on integration and differentiation of periodic Haar functions. Its major advantage is the fact that it is notably fast and easy to implement and beyond that it provides good reconstruction quality. The procedure for constructing two-dimensional PHL functions and transform is introduced.
