Correlation between Serum Cystatin C and Prognosis of Patients with COVID-19/ 血清胱抑素C与新型冠状病毒肺炎患者预后的相关性

2020
Objective: To investigate the correlation between serum cystatin C (Cys⁃C) and prognosis of patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID⁃19) Methods: 32 patients with novel coronavirus pneumonia admitted to the ICU in the second district of Dabieshan Medical Center were selected as the research subjects During treatment, 26 patients were transferred to the general ward (group A), and 6 patients died (group B) According to the level of Cys⁃C, it was divided into group I (Cys⁃C < 1 2 mg/L), group Ⅱ (1 2 ≤ Cys⁃C < 1 9 mg/La), and group Ⅲ (Cys⁃C ≥ 1 9 mg/L) Analysis the correlation between serum cystatin C and treatment outcomes in patients with novel coronavirus pneumonia Results: The level of serum Cys⁃C in group B was significantly higher than that in group A (P < 0 05) Kaplan⁃meier survival analysis showed that the death rate of COVID⁃19 patients with high serum Cys⁃C levels was higher, and the length of ICU stay in group Ⅰ was lower than that in group Ⅱ and group Ⅲ (P < 0 05) Multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that diabetes and COPD were independent risk factors for the outcome of COVID⁃19 patients Conclusion: Serum Cys⁃C level is related to the disease classification of COVID⁃19 patients, and can be used as an index to judge the severity and prognosis of COVID⁃19
