Kesediaan Melakukan Voluntary Counseling and Testing pada Kelompok Resiko HIV/AIDS

Abstrak Konsep sikap, norma subjektif, dan kontrol perilaku yang dirasakan dalam Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) dianggap berkaitan erat dengan kesediaan seseorang untuk melakukan VCT. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor determinan kesediaan melakukan Voluntary Counseling and Testing pada kelompok resiko HIV/AIDS di Kota Lhokseumawe. Rancangan penelitian adalah analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional study pada 97 responden yang dipilih secara accidental sampling  pada populasi lima kelompok resiko HIV/AIDS terdiri dari  Lelaki suka lelaki, Wanita pekerja seks, Waria, Bikers, dan Warga binaan pemasyarakatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari tanggal 18 Januari sampai dengan 13 Pebruari 2016 di Kota Lhokseumawe melalui penyebaran angket Hasil uji regresi logistik berganda didapatkan bahwa faktor determinan  kesediaan melakukan VCT adalah norma subjektif (Exp (β)=0.054; p-value =0.001) dan TPB mampu menjelaskan 21.6% faktor determinan kesediaan melakukan VCT ( Nagelkerke R Square =0.216). Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa Theory of Planned Behavior mampu mengidentifikasi faktor determinan kesediaan melakukan Voluntary Counseling and Testing dengan norma subjektif sebagai faktor determinan utamanya. Konselor dan Penjangkau Lapangan hendaknya melakukan pendekatan dengan orang–orang terdekat kelompok sasaran intervensi kesehatan dalam rangka meningkatkan keberhasilan program terkait pemanfaatan layanan Voluntary Counseling and Testing . Abstract Concepts of attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavior control in the Theory of Planned Behavior considered to have significant correlation to VCT uptake’s intention. This study aimed to identify determinants factors of voluntary and counseling testing uptake’s intention among HIV/AIDS risk groups in Lhokseumawe. This was an analytic with cross-sectional study on 97 respondents selected through accidental sampling technique among five HIV/AIDS risk groups consists of Men who have sex with men, Female sex workers, Transsexual, Bikers, and Prisoners, conducted from January 18 to February 13, 2016 in Lhokseumawe. Data were collected using questionnaire. The results by binary logistic regression test showed that determinant factor of VCT uptake’s intention was subjective norms ( Exp (β) =0.054; p-value=0.001) and TPB explained the variability in VCT uptake’s intention by 21.6% (Nagelkerke R Square=0.216). Therefore it concluded that the Theory of Planned Behavior could  identify determinant factor of Voluntary Counseling and Testing uptake’s intention with subjective norms as its main determinant. The counselors and field personals  should assemble with the target group’s significant in order to improve the program success associated to the Voluntary Counseling and Testing service use.
