Procedures for obtaining kinetic parameters involving such steps as experimental planning, checking the consistency of the experimental data, developing kinetic models and statistical evaluation of the kinetic data are presented. Parameter estimation methods are described including regression analysis. The chapter briefly discussed strategies for numerical solutions of algebraic and differential equations. Systematic deviations and ways of diminishing errors by normalization of experimental data are presented. Physico-chemical significance of parameters is addressed.
