Coextraction and suppression of extraction of tungsten and molybdenum in extraction from halide solutions by trioctylamine and trioctylbenzylammonium salts

1973
1. In the joint extraction of molybdenum and tungsten compounds from solutions of HF, HCl, and HBr by trioctylamine and trioctylbenzylammonium salts, a coextraction or suppression of extraction of micro-quantities of one metal in the presence of macroquantities of the other is observed. 2. The electric conductivity data show that in all the investigated organic phases the extractable compounds are dissociated to one degree or another.
