Studies on Reservoirs Forming Epoch and Periods of Gas Reservoirs in Denglouku Formation, Changling Fault

2015
The formation epoch of Changshen No. 1 (CS1) well and Laoshen No. 1 (LS1) well in Denglouku formation Changling fault from Songliao basin are 81 Ma and 91 Ma separately due to reservoirs fluid inclusions homogenization temperature testing, Laser Raman spectroscopy and single well burial history research. Both of the two wells accumulated in one period. CS1 well accumulated later and had a deeper reservoir burial depth of the two research areas. This phenomenon suggests natural gas might accumulate and preserve better with deeper burial depth and stronger diagenesis after hydrocarbon gas accumulated. The discovery of Changling natural gas field in this region showed research on reservoirs forming epoch and periods had leading implications in future hydrocarbon gas exploration area pickings of Denglouku formation, Changling fault.
