Artificial cervical vertebra joint applicable to lower cervical vertebra

2016
The invention provides an artificial cervical vertebra joint applicable to a lower cervical vertebra. The cervical vertebra joint applicable to the lower cervical vertebra comprises a vertebral body part and end plate parts which are arranged at the two ends of the vertebral body part; the vertebral body part comprises a quadrangular prism body and glenoid fossa structures which are arranged at the two ends of the quadrangular prism body; two non-adjacent side surfaces of the quadrangular prism body are provided with tooth-shaped bump structures and a plurality of holes which penetrate to the opposite side; each end plate part is of an L-shaped structure, and is provided with a joint ball structure which is matched with the corresponding glenoid fossa structure to form a ball and socket joint and two screw holes. According to the artificial cervical vertebra joint applicable to the lower cervical vertebra, a stable supporting effect can be achieved immediately after an anterior cervical vertebral body subtotal resection decompression surgery; a movement function of normal cervical intervertebral joint can be simulated through an upper ball and socket joint and a lower ball and socket joint; adjacent segment degeneration caused after a fusion surgery can be avoided. Meanwhile, long-time stability of the artificial cervical vertebra joint can be finally realized by grafting bones in the holes. The surgery is small in difficulty, easy to operate and convenient to popularize.
