Stability Analysis of Surrounding Rock of Tunnels with Large Diameter

2011
The diameter of hydraulic tunnels is large, and their geological structure is complex. The parameters of geological background and rock properties are inaccurate. The theoretical calculations cannot precisely reflect their work states, especially during their construction they are disturbed by the construction process. The prototype observation is an effective way to monitor their work states.Based on the water transfer tunnel of underground powerhouse of a hydropower station,a regression model was established to analyze the variation rules of surrounding rock according to the monitoring data, and the spatial distribution of the surrounding rock is studied. The results show the surrounding rock is safe.
