RISCOS OCUPACIONAIS PARA A SAÚDE DE ENFERMEIRAS EM UNIDADE DE SAÚDE DA FAMÍLIA

Objective: to analyze occupational health risks for nurses working in the Family Health Unit (FHU). Methods: This is a descriptive, exploratory study with a qualitative approach, developed in the municipality of Conceicao do Almeida-BA, with nurses from the USFs, data collection occurred in the months of May and June 2015, through the application questionnaire with objective and subjective questions, were analyzed through content analysis. Results: It was evidenced that the nurses' understanding of occupational risks goes through unhealthy and dangerous activities, whose nature comes from working conditions directly related to physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic and psychosocial risks, which can cause or aggravate problems of health. Among the occupational risks identified, biological ones were the most cited, followed by psychosocial and anti-ergonomic risks; physicists and chemists were less cited. Conclusion: It is concluded that occupational risks in the USF are harmful to the nurse's health, justified by the health changes caused by exposure to the agents mentioned, identified in this study. Thus, there is a need to seek better working conditions for this category, aiming to improve the quality of life at work of nurses who work in the Family Health Unit.
