Avifauna of the grassland ecosystems from the periurban area of Timisoara in hiemal season.

The periurban area of the city includes the forest ecosystem, represented by Padurea Verde, agroecosistem and eco tone areas. Agroecosystems are represented by agricultural crops (in the north, adjacent thoroughfares to Calea Aradului si Calea Torontalului and in the south Calea Sagului area), pastures (Freidorf area in the western side and in the south eastern the areaofCalea Girocului-Calea BuziasuluiCalea Mosnitei , aiming at a mixed grassland ecosystem, agricultural crops and residential areas).
