SUMMARY I n t ro d u c t i o n : Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) is a collection of diverse clinical manifestations characterized by pain, functional impotence, vaso-sudomotor disorders and trophic alterations. The final diagnosis can be easily established in complete forms, but can be very difficult in some incomplete and atypical cases. The diagnosis shall be mainly clinical and be confirmed by further explorations.
