The effect of hypercholesterolemia on hypertension-induced renal injury was investigated in rats. Hypertension was induced by L-N(G)-nitroarginine methyl ester (L-NAME) and Hypercholesterolemia was induced by feeding rats with a diet containing 1% cholesterol.
