Student Discipline Towards Natural Science Education Subjects on Secondary Schools in Muaro Jambi Regency

Discipline is a cycle of behaviour or habits that tend to be consistent and repetitive to do, respond to objects. Discipline has a positive impact on individual character. Discipline towards science defined as a habit that characterizes students in responding to science objects and their nature tends to be fixed. This study aims to analyze how student discipline to science. The research used quantitative and carried out by survey method. The population was 612 students and Random Sampling was used to select the sample/respondents. Thus, this study analyzed 187 samples of State Secondary School Students in Muaro Jambi Regency. The results of the research data derived from students' disciplinary questionnaires on science. The results of the study are based on the results of the disciplinary indicators measured as follows: (1) discipline to attend school categorized very good with 69%, (2) discipline following science lessons categorized as a very good discipline with 35.8%, and (3) discipline in doing science tasks categorized as good with 46%, & (4) discipline learning science at home categorized quite well with 47,1%. Based on the results can be concluded that the discipline of students towards science shows positive discipline results with excellent categories.
