Butiá promovendo interações agroecológicas: um relato de experiências nos Territórios Rurais Missões e Fronteira Noroeste no Rio Grande do Sul

This report describes the history of butia party in Girua-RS and the interactions among differentagroecological knowledges and its actors. In the agroecological context, the economic useand the cultural preservation of native fruits have an important role. In the south of Brazil, differentsocial actors are involved with the yatay butia, where the butia party is essential for theirarticulation. This work aims at reporting the social interactions observed in the 11th butia party.It was identified the importance of gastronomic, cultural and technical activities. In conclusion,there are several meanings for butia in the region and that the 11th butia party revealed to bethe proper space to create and reinforce the bonds among the social actors who are involved.
