Modeling and validation of AVS and H.264 unified IDCT module

The algorithms of H.264 and AVS have some similarities.The characteristic of IDCT algorithm indicates that it fits to be accelerated by hardware.This paper co-designed software and hardware with ARM ESL tool,reused the similar algorithm moduleed IDCT of AVS and H.264,modeled it with SoC Designer,and got a unified decoder based on ARM SOC which can decode both AVS and H.264 streams.
