Fundamental concepts and mechanical analysis of water-resisting key strata in water-preserved mining

The concept of the water-resisting key strata was proposed in controlling the roof and floor water movement in working face,and the mechanics model of the water-resisting compound key strata was established to analyze the strength and stiffness of the water-resisting compound key strata,which was composed of five rock seams.A sufficient condition was obtained for the water resistance capability of different rock seams combinations.The ground control thought of the water-preserved mining was brought forward from the visual angle of rock strata motion and water movement,which provides an effective technique approach to develop the green mining technology,which is benefit to the water resource protection.
