Influence of the dynamic Stark effect on polarization of resonance fluorescence

1993
The integrated intensity of the resonance fluorescence of an atom perturbed by a strong em field that is in resonance with a transition between two excited states is calculated. The atom is assumed to be pumped by another optical field. The dependence of the intensity on the polarization states of the pump and emitted waves is studied. Features caused by crossing of quasienergy levels due to the dynamic Stark effect are considered. 4 refs., 4 figs.
