Pristane: A norditerpene hydrocarbon from bute inlet wax

Abstract Spectroscopic evidence is presented to prove the identify of a norditerpene hydrocarbon, isolated from Bute Inlet wax, with pristane (2,6,10,14-tetramethylpentadecane).
