TOPOLOGICAL GRADIENT METHOD APPLIED TO ELECTROMAGNETIC SHIELD DESIGN

In this paper we present an application of the Topological Gradient method to a design problem in electromagnetic shielding. The problem consists of defining a face of a cavity such as to obtain a minimal induced interference voltage at the port of a cable located inside the cavity. The principle of the Topological Gradient method is explained and the numerical results for a preliminary example are presented.
