The optical properties of A5 2B6 3 solid solution single crystals in the fundamental absorption region

1988
Abstract The optical properties of single crystals of Sb2S3-Sb2Se3 solid solutions have been investigated by vacuum-ultraviolet spectroscopy method. The reflection spectra are shown to be of a highly anisotropic character and have a complex structure. The substitution of S by Se results in a heavy change of the behaviour of the interband transitions in the energy region of 5–12 eV. On the basis of the obtained results, a quantum-chemical nature of electron states has been revealed.
