A MAGNETIC SHIELDING STUDY OF HIGH Tc SUPERCONDUCTOR Y1, Ba2Cu307-δ

The performance of magnetic shielding of a thick wall YBCO cylinder has been tested. The dc field less than 8x10 T can be shielded by the particular cylinder. The low frequency data were analyzed on the eddy current shielding mechanism.
