Message routing method and intermediate network element

The invention discloses a message routing method and an intermediate network element. The message routing method comprises the following steps that: an intermediate network element negotiates with a source network element about a source account and the source account is configured with information of an objective account; the intermediate network element receives information of the source network element through the source account; the objective account is obtained according to the source account; information is forwarded to an objective network element corresponding to the objective account. According to the invention, source accounts corresponding to objective addresses are agreed mutually between network elements that are communicated with each other, so that it becomes simple to carry out processing on a relation of a source account and an objective account of information; and thus an intermediate link for routing according to a number is reduced and expenses of a system are reduced.
