La danza en los estudios superiores

2009
EnglishThe Dance is an artistic and motor discipline with an increasing interest in our society. Nevertheless, unlike it happens in other countries, in Spain the higher studies on Dance are focused on the formation of dancers or choreographers. It seems to be important to contribute to the development of a dance professional with an integral formation in a university context. That means, beyond the technique, learning different contents (motor, biomechanical, pedagogical, social, artistic, management and health) as well as the development of specific competences. This would allow creating professionals of the dance who will able to transmit the dance values and applying educative resources for its teaching. It would also increase the professional opportunities for accessing the working world. Therefore, we consider necessary to promote proposals of university degree oriented to develop professionals of the dance.
