Method for purifying bisphenol-A molecular epoxy resin by using molecular distillation technology and device thereof

2010
The invention discloses a method for purifying bisphenol-A molecular epoxy resin by using a molecular distillation technology. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps: (I) taking the commercially available bisphenol-A epoxy resin as a raw material, and separating and removing light molecules in the commercially available bisphenol-A epoxy resin by a thin-film distiller to obtain heavy components at a thin-film distillation section; and (II) taking the heavy components at the thin-film distillation section as raw materials, and separating and removing the high boiling-point polymer bisphenol-A epoxy resin in a molecular distiller to obtain the purified bisphenol-A molecular epoxy resin at the short-range molecular distillation section. The bisphenol-A molecule obtained by the method has high epoxy purity, high yield and low cost.
