Normal-grain-growth textures in Fe + 3% Si alloys with various impurity contents
1999
The primary recrystallization of Fe + 3% Si alloys with various impurity contents results in distinct changes in crystal orientations and similar crystallographic textures. Upon grain growth, the texture perfection decreases, but no preferential growth of some orientations is observed. The experimental data on the crystallographic textures confirm Loaut's assumption (1974) of a random character of grain growth processes upon normal grain growth.
