Remote Sensing for the Lincoln Sea Winterover Experiment

Abstract : During the Naval Oceanographic and Atmospheric Research Laboratory (NOARL) Winterover experiment of 1989-1990, satellite imagery was processed in order to compare ice parameters derived from the imagery with the acoustic data collected. This effort is a continuation of an investigation of techniques developed during the Lincoln Sea exercise of 1990 (Fetterer et al., 1990).
