Determination of dynamic overload for onboard spacecraft equipment

The equipment failures under dynamic loads are a prevalent problem in space-rocket industry. The aim of the present paper is to analyze and determine dynamic loads on the equipment to increase its reliability and durability. To answer this question, we compared the results of calculation loads with experimental data using a test signal. At the next step we applied the real external impact on the spacecraft in the place of a junction with the carrier rocket. The real loads were found on the equipment of the small spacecraft. The degree of reliability of the calculation model was estimated and correlated with the real object characteristics. The results will allow developing fairly strong fastenings of the onboard equipment at a design stage.
