The invention discloses an actuating mechanism of small residual current action breaker, which includes a static contact, a moving contact, and a driving mechanism. The driving mechanism includes a four-bar mechanism consisting of an operating handle, a first transmission connecting bar, a rocker, a second transmission connecting bar, and a support, a tripping device consisting of a fastener, a jump pin, a lever, a pin return spring, a fastener return spring, and a lever return spring, and a handspike of a firing pin under the control of failure trip relay. The invention has a lever between the jump pin and the fastener, through which the force on the jump pin is converted into a force on the fastener, thus making the contact pressure at the position of the fastener smaller and the control of tripping force of the mechanism easier.
