A Study on Curriculum of Practical Teaching in Nautical Science

Undergraduate nautical education has the dual nature of common higher education and vocational education. As common higher education, it complies with the principle of higher education. As vocational education, it must meet the standards formulated by international conventions and national competent industrial administrations. Nautical science is a strong practical comprehensive applied science. At present, practical teaching in nautical science is still a weak link in the talent cultivation in colleges and universities, which is a certain gap from the high quality requirements of nautical specialized talents. This essay aims to analyze the curriculum of practice teaching in nautical science, in order to build reasonable practical teaching course system and provide a reference standard of practical teaching in nautical science.
