Protokoli i ceremonijali policije RH na primjeru organizacije i tijeka posljednjeg ispraćaja

2021
The topic of this diploma thesis is the protocol of the last farewell of police officers and the comparison with the protocol of the last farewell of military personnel. The paper is written using the method of comparison and the purpose of the paper is to show the similarities and differences during the funeral of employees of the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Defense. Both activities are extremely stressful and require both mental and physical stability from both categories of employees. Both are very often exposed to dangerous and stressful situations at their workplace, and in practice it is not uncommon for both a police officer and a military person to die at their workplace. Given the service that is always in the protection of their own citizenship, police and military personnel often neglect their private lives and put them on hold to perform their professional duty. Accordingly, employees exercise certain honors during their service and as a thank you to the state. All police officers, as well as the military, are entitled to posthumous honors. The honors are very similar, yet there are small differences. The introductory part of the diploma thesis deals with the theoretical framework of protocols, ie protocol behaviors in the Ministry of the Interior. The second part of the paper is devoted to the protocols during the organization of the last farewell and commemoration of the deceased police officer. The third part of the paper is dedicated to the analysis of the funeral of a police officer and a military officer. This part of the paper consists of a theoretical part and a table in which the analysis is presented. At the end of the table, there are links to websites that cover some of the funerals of the dead employees of the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Defense on duty.
