Protective Effects of Traditional Chinese Medicine Tiannianyin on Hepatic Function of Aging Rats

ObjectiveTo observe the protective effects of traditional Chinese medicine Tiannianyin on hepatic function of aging rats.Methods40 SD rats were divided into 4 groups at random: normal group,aging model group,Tiannianyin group and negative control group,and each group had 10 rats.The subacutely aging model rats were made by injecting D-gal into abdominal cavity continually(200mg/kg/d,40 d) and Tiannianyin was lavaged(30 d).The SOD activity and the contents of MDA,AST,ALT,ALP,γ-GT were respectively detected.ResultsTiannianyin could obviously increase SOD activity and decrease MDA content in serum of aging model rats,there had obvious difference between aging model group and Tiannianyin group(P0.05,P0.01).Tiannianyin could significantly decrease the contents of AST,ALT,ALP and γ-GT in serum of aging model rats(P0.05,P0.01).ConclusionTraditional Chinese medicine Tiannianyin can increase the anti-oxidative activity of aging organism,improve the lipid metabolism and protect function of hepatocyte,so it has fairly anti-aging effects.
