The use of charcoal sorbents as the drainage materials in the treatment of suppurative diseases of the mandibulofacial region in children

: An experience with the treatment of 56 children with pyo-inflammatory diseases has shown that the local application of carbohydrate adsorbents increases the adsorption of metabolism products and accelerates the phase of cleaning of the purulent wound, reduces the toxic influence on the child's organism which ultimately results in shortening the time of staying at the hospital.
