Screening of 9 kinds of plant extract against Meloidogyne incognita

Nine kinds of plant extracts were used for assay the virulence of against the second juvenile of Meloidogyne incognita(J2) and bating incubating.The results showed that the extract of soybean hull possessed the highest nematocidal activity,the followed one was the extract of castor leaf.The soybean hull extract at 80 μg/mg caused 87.7 % and 89.2 % of corrected mortalities after 24 h and 48 h of treatment.The extract also caused 42.2 %,43.9 % and 48.5 % of the bating incubating rate after 3 d,6d and 9d of treatment.It is suggested that the extract of soybean hull had a strong virulence against the second juvenile of Meloidogyne incognita and had a good inhibition of bating incubating.
