A educação permanente em saúde: potencializando o saber das ACS sobre o câncer de colo de útero

Permanent Education in Health has become a strategy of collective construction. The objective of the study was to enhance the knowledge of community health agents about cervical cancer through permanent health education. Data collection took place during 2018, with a sample composed of four professionals. The workshop highlighted two categories: “Unveiling the knowledge of Community Health Agents about Cervical Cancer,” “From the performance of the preventive exam to the results.” It is expected that the study will help to identify the obstacles and potentialities of the work of professionals with a focus on disease prevention.
